Jay began his career in the financial services industry in 1983 and joined Baird in 1994.
With a strong emphasis on financial planning, Jay utilizes Baird’s expertise in research and money management to help investors realize their financial goals. In order for them to navigate the ever-changing complexities of the wealth they have accumulated, Jay’s business philosophy provides the affluent investor the necessary knowledge to identify any gaps in their financial well-being. He uses a holistic and consultative approach. This theory provides the investor a broader understanding of every aspect of their wealth, hence allowing them to make well-informed decisions.
Jay obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Bradley University. He has taught adult education classes involving finance and wealth management through Illinois Central College for over twenty years and continues to do so. Serving as the Chairman of the Public Building Commission for many years, he is actively involved in the community on many levels.
Having lived in Peoria, Illinois for nearly all his life, free time is spent enjoying family, golf, and karate.
